I'm just a regular guy

Today's Inspirational Thought is....I am just a normal bloke.
Why is this such a refreshing revelation?
Because it means I am not sick or weird or backward or out-of-place, or socially awkward.
I refuse to lock myself away just because I haven't yet mastered all the techniques and intricacies of communication and dealing with people and social situations.
I am just a regular guy.
Sure, I used to think I was special, but the problem with that is it sets me apart from everyone else.
The things that apply to others, don't apply to me.
Now I've realised with a sigh of relief, that I am just like everyone else, and I am just as eligible.
This is Encouraging and Inspiring; I learn and improve each day.
I accept myself, and let myself off the hook.
I can look in the mirror (a feat in itself) and declare loudly:
I AM PROUD OF YOU SERGE,  YOU HAVE MADE SO MUCH PROGRESS.  WELL DONE!
